How to have a self care Sunday:)

As you know, I am all about some self care; and there is nothing I love more than a good reset to start fresh. Whether this is Sunday, or even just starting your weekend, the key to having a self care day is finding time to just do you. I like to be productive on my self care days, as well as think of all the things I want to do for myself. Some of my self care things include: taking a nice "everything" shower, reading a book, watching a show, working out, shopping, scrolling through Tok Tok, cooking/baking, or catching up with friends. I like to pick some of those things to fit into my self care day, as well as think of the things I need for a fresh reset. A lot of times, a reset for me includes cleaning, meal prepping, planning out my week or journaling my thoughts. Reading my bible is a big part of my self care and reset routine, because every time I read it, I feel refreshed. There is something so comforting about either having a great day, or a day full of stress, I can read my bible and feel so much better afterward. I love wearing comfy clothes on these days, and just being able to go with the flow. If I know I want to be productive, but I cannot get out of bed, there's no reason to push too fast. I have the time to get everything done, and there is no need to rush. I also find it so satisfying when I do get the energy to do those things, and can start crossing them off of a list (you know I love a list). Wherever your Self care Sunday/Sunday refresh takes you, make sure you're giving yourself some credit. You are getting stuff done. Even if you are just laying in bed, you're giving your body a break, which is what is needs every once in a while. These small little goals are completely up to you in accomplishing them, and you get to make all of the decisions, so have fun and always enjoy these days!
